About Our Client
This is a significant organisation within the drinks industry, based in Edinburgh. Significant investment has been made to production capacity and this is a new role within the business to spearhead growth.
Job Description
Develop and implement strategic sales plans, particularly within the on-trade channel, to achieve company goals
Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team
Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
Forecast sales, revenue and budgeting in line with company objectives
Collaborate with marketing to identify and reach out to potential clients
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics
Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Report on sales results to senior management regularly
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Head of Sales' should have:
Proven experience in a Head of Department role or Senior Management (with P+L Responsibility) within the drinks industry.
A strong on-trade network
Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a sales team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong organisational and planning skills
