Talentloop are excited to be partnered with babytech start-up, Aibytech, to help support them within their next phase of growth. They are looking for a Head of Sales to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

As we prepare for our exciting market launch, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Sales to join our team and drive our next phase of growth.


What will you be doing?

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of Aibytech’s launch and expansion, leveraging your expertise to establish and grow our customer base. Your responsibilities will include:


Sales Strategy Development:

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive market expansion efforts.


Retail Partnership Management:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key retailers to expand our customer base.
  • Develop and manage sales initiatives tailored to retail partners.


E-commerce Management:

  • Set up and oversee our Amazon e-commerce platform, ensuring optimal performance and sales growth.
  • Utilise Shopify and other e-commerce tools to enhance online sales strategies.


Category Expertise:

  • Leverage experience within the baby/nursery category to inform product positioning and sales tactics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.


Sales Operations:

  • Conduct monthly sales meetings to review performance and adjust strategies.
  • Manage volume forecasts, stock levels, and sell-through rates to ensure close monitoring of performance, taking necessary steps to course correct when required and ensure consistent product availability.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team suppliers and operations partners to optimise inventory management.


Marketing Collaboration:

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute trade marketing strategies, aligned with the broader marketing strategy and activation plan.
  • Enhance product visibility and drive promotional campaigns.


Tradeshow Representation:

  • Represent Aibytech at industry tradeshows, including pre-event planning and slot booking with relevant buyers and partners.
  • Maximise exposure and networking opportunities at events.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with all customers, addressing their needs and ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Implement CRM systems to streamline customer interactions and data management.


Ideal Candidate Experience:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership within the baby/nursery category.
  • Extensive experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon and Shopify.
  • Strong background in advertising, visibility campaigns, and trade marketing.


Skills:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting and inventory management.
  • Adept at leveraging industry connections and networks.
