A bit about the job:

This role is responsible for Finance Business Partnering across both Public and Private markets within Aviva Investors. This will be delivered through individual accountability with support of the commercial finance team comprising of Finance Business Partners focused on those agendas, as well as strong influencing skills and ability to manage senior stakeholders to help achieve Aviva Investor’s stated growth and efficiency objectives. The role will directly partner the new Chief Investment Officer, helping to define and shape AI’s growth agenda. The role requires significant judgment and decision making with respect to commercial decisions (pricing, cost management, new ventures, projects) with direct financial impact for Aviva Investors, taking into consideration and balancing short-term as well as long-term implications. The role also requires strong leadership and guidance for the team to drive change in approach to day-to-day delivery across the team with emphasis on value adding insight, commerciality and decision support that meets the needs of the business. In addition, the role holder will be the main point of contact for all commercial finance issues between Aviva Investors and other parts of the Aviva Group.

• Broad commercial awareness and business acumen
• Excellent project management skills
• Ability to adapt rapidly to meet changing priorities/deadlines
• Demonstration of clear understanding of business drivers, headwinds and opportunities impacting actuals and forecasts
