Junior/Graduate Commercial Property Manager

Role Summary:

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Graduate Commercial Property Manager to join their team. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in the commercial real estate sector, working closely with tenants, contractors, and the accounts team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
  • Update the property management system with relevant information, including tenant details, lease events, and rent charges.
  • Conduct regular inspections of managed properties to ensure tenant compliance with lease agreements and property upkeep.
  • Liaise with tenants regarding their obligations and property-related issues.
  • Arrange for contractor quotes for building upkeep and supervise repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Work with the accounts team regarding service charges, rents, and reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of service charge budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure properties are compliant with health and safety regulations, including carrying out H&S inspections and risk assessments.
  • Maintain and update lease and property files as required.


Requirements:

  • Excellent level of customer service both on the phone and face-to-face
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Sound numerical and IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks


Qualifications:

University Graduate, preferably in Real Estate or a related field.
