The Mind, Money & Business brand has helped thousands of business owners across the globe in 7 years. To continue this lightning fast growth we are looking for a Creative Director for our brand, to be the one to spearhead continued and future growth. This position is for someone looking to create a powerful brand unlike any mainstream that currently exists - bridging the gap between leadership, education, manifestation and business, as well as personal content.


This is not for the faint of heart, we are looking for someone ready for the challenge who sees this as a career making opportunity, not only to direct the brand, but to work side by side with Mindy Paul, our CEO, in making this vision a reality. You need to have a ‘jack of all trades’ skill set of understanding brand, media, creatives, video, all social media platforms, how to work with a brand as well as create, hire and lead a team of highly motivated individuals to make it come to life.


What makes Mind, Money & Business so different? For one, the founder of this company, Mindy Paul, is a successful entrepreneur himself. Mindy has built multiple companies over the years and has a keen understanding of what it takes to dramatically scale businesses.


Mind, Money & Business is a coaching business, and we specialise in 3-in-1: Business, Mindset & Manifestation. Our mission is to make real business education accessible to everyone. Most entrepreneurs lack the WHO, the WHAT, and the HOW to SCALE. At Mind, Money & Business we recruit the who, give them the what, and show them the how. And once an entrepreneur has all three, their business scales.


Role


The Creative Director is responsible for leading every creative aspect of our creative, social media strategy and brand, while bringing a mix of marketing, creative and business understanding to the position in order to take our creative to the next level as our small team grows. You will create, hire and lead a team of videographers, editors, copywriters, designers, and other creative departmental positions that help bring the brand to life. We are a very small (but fast growing) team.


The Creative Director will provide feedback to the CEO regarding strategy, creative content, social media analytics and best practices based on data and audience feedback.


This is a highly creative role, where trying new things is encouraged (not punished) and finding creative and experimental ways to reach our audience across the spectrum of platforms is critical to success!


We've created a movement and we want the right person to continue to lead this forward (it's NOT a corporate role! We move at the speed-of-light, we have an amazing culture, we get sh*t done, and we have tons of fun in the process).


When it comes to our brand, think Beast Mode, disruptive, impactful. We're disrupting the coaching space and you must be eager to help us continue to create a monster of a brand with us.


Responsibilities


  • Create all the content for our social media & YouTube videos (coming up with all the hooks, angles, headlines, thumbnails, viral content, etc). We are HUGE on video and we use social media heavily to explode our brand.
  • In-depth research of social media, and podcast-growth strategies that similar brands are using.
  • Hiring the entire creative team (currently we have 1 videographer).
  • People management and process management of the Mind, Money & Business creative team.
  • Meet weekly with CEO to discuss strategic initiatives for the brand.
  • Work with CEO on VLOG concepts well in advance to ensure congruency and alignment on topics and lessons.
  • Meet weekly with CEO and team to discuss performance, upcoming projects, and any needs.
  • Lead our Creative & Strategy creating a vision deck, as well as strategy deck that is updated on a quarterly basis used to set goals for the team.
  • Weekly reporting on content performance broken down by platform delivered to CEO each week. Good understanding of how to read post analytics and know what content is performing best, so we can do more of it.
  • Design and build out thumbnail templates that meet the balance of performance and brand for social media.
  • Lead concepting for Mindy's content and work closely with Mindy based on his current workload and needs, implementing ideas fast.
  • Working with Mindy on suggesting topics for videos/podcasts.
  • Take on new platforms as the team sees fit (We're currently on Podcast, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, and we've created a Facebook group of 15,000 members, where most of our hot prospects are).


Results


  • Our podcast "The Mindy Paul Show" is a Top 5% Podcast Globally. Goal is Top 0.1%
  • Content is congruent with CEO core values and mission
  • All content is approved before release
  • Content schedule is adhered to and is consistent (30 days ahead as a goal)
  • Increase YouTube channel long form AVD
  • Increase weekly long form video output from 1/week to 3/week by 2025
  • Roll out correct strategy to have guests feature on our podcast
  • Create partnerships on social media to massively increase engagement and followers
  • All personal matters of the CEO are kept confidential
  • Be willing and eager to create a monster of a brand out of Mind, Money & Business

Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience as a Creative Director
  • Proficient with social media platforms and best practices
  • (YouTube, Instagram, Podcast, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok, etc)
  • Happy to be an implementer, you will be heavily implementing most ideas (besides editing our video content, we have a videographer and video editor doing this)
  • Able to “speak the language” of the various creatives on the team
  • (understands video editing, filming, design, audio editing, and copywriting)
  • Innovative thinker, self-starter
  • Initiative is a MUST - For example, this person likes to create content and research in their free time. When they accomplish their tasks, they’re excited to start new projects
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas
  • Ability to create cutting-edge internet content
  • Has a great sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proactive not reactive
  • Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack)
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change.

Salary

  • Competitive salary based on experience.


Communication Expectations

  • We use Slack – it is the go to for any internal communications
  • We value over-communication (more context the better)
  • We value speed in communication (be prompt in responding or provide context as to why you may be slow to respond)
  • Weekly Creative Team Meetings
  • Weekly meetings with CEO


Availability

  • Monday - Friday, 9am–5:30pm, with flexibility to work weekends when needed
