CREATIVE DIRECTOR with vision – proven experience in consumer and FMCG branding and brand world, including brand identity, packaging design, visual brand language solutions, brand activation including motion, comms, film, digital. Working with a London agency, which also has an office in Chicago, they are 25 people strong and growing.

You’re visionary and will have the support of a fantastic MD who joined them 6 months ago from a very large, well-known global agency because they too wanted less process, less bureaucracy and an opportunity to make their own path. This is a well-established, independent design and branding agency based in the vibrant heart of Farringdon in London, specialising in consumer branding, comms and packaging design. With a portfolio of renowned clients, they are committed to creating impactful design that resonates with global audiences and drive brand success.
As their Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the ‘brand’ side of their creative team. The other side is dedicated to more retail clients. You will lead your creative team, collaborate closely with clients, and shape the agency’s creative direction.
As Creative Director of Brand, you’ll lead the development of creative concepts and strategies for client projects, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market trends. Oversee the execution of brand positioning, identity through to packaging design, full brand activation, maintaining high-quality standards and exceeding client expectations. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their brand vision and translate it into compelling visual solutions that drive brand differentiation and consumer engagement.
Mentor and guide a team of creatives, foster creative growth and excellence. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, driving innovation and thought leadership in design. Collaborate cross-functionally with account managers, copywriters, and other team members to deliver integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
You’ll have a deep understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout, with a keen eye for detail. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards creative excellence and of course you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling through design, driving brand narratives and consumer engagement.

ESSENTIALS
- You are either Design Director or Creative Director level
- Proven experience in branding, packaging, visual brand comms
- You have leadership experience, a strong mentor
- Preferrably have good energy, enthusiasm, entrepreneurialism
- Able to hybrid work from their London studio, 3 days in a week
