Established in Brittany, France, in 1988, the business has become a recognised supplier to the retail, hotel, restaurant, end-user and travel sectors. Bridor has built a unique reputation in the world of gastronomy with its Le Notre range, used by some of the best chefs in the world, and is also a partner of prestigious events such as the Bocuse d’Or and the Roux Scholarship.


Bridor represents a €1bn share of their parent company, within the UK have successfully traded premium quality products with high-end customers across the Retail and Foodservice channels for over 20 years. Following strong growth and future growth plans both globally and within the UK, Bridor are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support future business growth across London.


Role


At the heart of this role is a focus on first class service and account management, something which Bridor prides itself on and attributes its success to. As a Business Development Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure customers receive this high level of service expected, whilst maximising the opportunities to penetrate the Foodservice market further.


As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across our customers within the London region. Reporting into the National Sales Manager, you will work closely with the National Account Managers as well as the wider Bridor sales and technical teams. You will be responsible for developing successful and profitable relationships with existing customers including Michelin Star Restaurants, High end Hotel Groups, Coffee Shops, Foodservice Wholesalers and Fine Food Distributors. In addition, this role will have a focus on developing new business opportunities and opening new trading relationships within your region.


Requirements


The successful candidate for this position will be operating in a field sales position within a food / FMCG environment. This experience can either be gained within a food manufacturing business or food service wholesale environment. You will have a proven track record of developing sales and building strong customer relationships within the Foodservice/ Hospitality sector, ideally high-end experience and direct relationships with Chefs. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to build relationships internally and with your customers. The successful candidate will be a well organised team player with the drive, motivation and enthusiasm to achieve sales and deliver success for Bridor.


Location


This is a home-based field sales role with frequent travel to customers across London and Bridor’s head office in Camberley, Surrey. The successful candidate will therefore be based within the M25 with good travel links to Central London.


Benefits – £40,000 to £45,000, 20% bonus, pension 10% (employer), company car, Oyster card, healthcare contribution, daily lunch allowance, laptop & mobile phone.
