Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
The Strategy & Growth division is responsible for ensuring IMG Media continues to expand its market leadership in a dynamic and evolving market. In this role, you will be responsible for:
STRATEGY
Working with IMG rights holders and partners to provide strategic advice regarding key commercial drivers, including media rights strategy, international expansion strategy, and financial evaluation.
Participating in Group Strategy projects or Group-wide initiatives assessing long-term opportunities for leveraging IMG capabilities.
Supporting corporate development initiatives, working across divisions with internal and external stakeholders, including responding to RFPs/pitch requests, and providing “value-added” services for our clients.
Ensuring proper and timely consideration of market, industry, and competitor analysis to support planning and performance management activities.
GROWTH
Owning our business capability tracking process and tools, and being responsible for regular reporting back to client leads and the broader business.
Assisting in implementing internal strategic initiatives to stimulate innovation, encourage positive change, and drive growth.
Collaborating with a vast network of local offices globally to define project needs and requirements, and source appropriate data and expertise to satisfy client needs.
Building complex financial business cases to support strategic recommendations for sports rightsholders.You may also be required to carry out any other duties within the scope and purpose of the job.
Knowledge And Experience
In-depth knowledge of and a passion for the sports, media, and entertainment industries will be highly advantageous, along with an awareness of the key trends driving change.
Experience working as a strategy consultant or analyst in the sports, media, or entertainment sectors for a consulting firm.
Proven experience in developing multi-million £/$/€ business cases for clients.
Confidence and competence in presenting to senior client audiences.
Skills And Abilities
Excellent slide production skills required for high standard consulting documents (PowerPoint and/or Google Slides)
Ability to conduct detailed analysis with large quantity of data and derive insights and strategic advice using Microsoft Excel
Ability to self-direct, motivate and work with minimal supervision
Is comfortable with ambiguity/vague client briefs and challenges, including intellectual confidence to propose solutions
Is a strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand, including occasional out-of-hours work
Has excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
Has strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
