What are the most effective strategies for aligning with SDGs?
Indeed looking at Agenda 2030 as a whole is important. For example being part of the HLPF through civil society portals. Or working with Government on their statements. One can also share insights or comments with Government departments on the issues being considered by the HLPF in a specific session in preparation to that session. Or contribute to a civil society shadow statement. The reporting element of Agenda 2030 is the mechanism to call all stakeholders to account, so being part of this process can increase implementation.

What are the most effective strategies for aligning with SDGs?
Mapping the SDGs is a great process and tool. We have an analysis of those that pertain particularly to women and girls and this has proved useful for those wishing to be involved but feeling the whole thing is "too big" for them. The mapping can show the ways in which organisations and those working in them can contribute to the implementation of the SDGs in a meaningful and effective way.

What are the most effective strategies for aligning with SDGs?
Looking at intersectionality of the SDGs is important. By analysing the targets and indicators for each Goal, it is possible to see those that your organisation is already working on and highlight this. The aim being to illustrate to all in the company that it is possible to add to the discourse on Agenda 2030 and make a positive difference to the implementation of SDGs as part of company life.

What are the most effective strategies for aligning with SDGs?
Working across the women's sector, it is clear that some people are very aware of Agenda 2030 but others are not. The media highlight on COP has been helpful and we can raise awareness of the SDGs through this awareness. In addition it helps if people can see how to implement the SDGs locally. So it is helpful to share the Indicators for those Goals that are most locally pertinent to whomever one is talking to. Many people do not see themselves as global protagonists but they do care about local issues, so highlighting the Indicators and their local implementation can be critical in gaining grassroots enthusiasm for Agenda 2030.
