    Led the JLR team (15 resources) which provides the governance layer to the major system integrator. Manage the JLR Dependencies required for an Office 365 deployment - Active Directory and Networks.

    Present to large audiences of JLR employees including the Board of Management on the business benefits of Office 365 and why JLR have chosen to move to the platform. Explain how Office 365 fits within the overall Digital Workplace roadmap.

    As a part of my teams responsibility we replaced a legacy Avaya phone system with Office 365 Voice to a major JLR location and an Office 365 BETA which included Teams Voice to 500 users.

    Led the team which created the RFP for services and procured with a major system integrator.

    Multi million pound Business Case justification and strategy for Jaguar Land Rover G Suite to Office 365 and Cisco Voice/Conferencing to Office 365.

    After the investment agreement manage the creation of the Microsoft licence bill of material and involved in the commercial discussions led by the procurement and senior JLR management.

  • Virtual Meeting Room Lead

    AZ Virtual Meeting Rooms - deploy a service to the Top 200 executives within AstraZeneca which provided each executive with their own individual Virtual Meeting Room. This required:

    • Service Transition from scheduled concierge VC meetings to ad hoc self-serve meetings
    • Training and adoption of the Executives, their EAs, VIP Support and the users who joined the meetings

    Pascal Soriot (AstraZeneca CEA) : I meet, well we meet in the team every month, once. And we meet physically three, four times a year. The rest of the time we meet by tele-presence, by video conference. And we have a great network, in fact this year, the whole company has reduced its travel budget by 25 percent. Because we told people, you know, we have a tremendous network of tele-presence and we want to use that. So now people are able to use their laptop, If you’re familiar with tele-presence, it’s better than video conference. In every meeting I’m in myself, we have three, or four, or five sets of people connected from everywhere. We have to operate like this, we have no choice. We are truly global.

    I and the IT leadership team take part in regular face-to-face town-hall meetings where employees come together to discuss and share information and feedback. Technology is playing a key role, with the introduction of webcast and virtual meeting technology, which has revolutionised the way that IT interacts with the business as a whole. In 2015, our use as a company of videoconferencing was up 63% and the use of webcast technology was up 315%, not only enabling us to communicate more effectively, but driving state-of-the-art collaboration tools which benefit us internally and externally.
