Really looking forward to co-chairing this webinar on partner performance next Thursday - do join us if you can! My particular focus will be on the current regulatory concern around "toxic working environments" and how firms can measure and reinforce positive behaviours in an objective and consistent manner. We will also be looking more broadly at how to manage performance effectively and what can happen when things go wrong.

Funders fees – DBA or uplift? The funder will set out their proposed terms. Some funders base their fees on an uplift on the sums committed and / or deployed. Some seek a percentage of realisations – so, like a DBA. https://lnkd.in/gQYdsek2

There are statutory duties to which all directors of UK companies (whether quoted or private) must adhere. Quoted companies also have additional corporate governance codes and requirements. Larger private companies may already choose to follow The Wates Principles re additional corporate governance. Should there, additionally, be a new voluntary code with commitments structured around six key 'Principles of Director Conduct'?
