How can you overcome writer's block when telling a compelling story?
It might sound strange but a common misconception about writing is that you have to have perfect grammar, spelling and vocabulary first and foremost. While of course it's true that these things are important they easily block your flow when writing, especially when you have the story structure in your head. I make marks everywhere and then go back and think of a clever wordplay or rearrange the sentence - for me it just helps to get the words down. Also, unless you have a deadline, don't think that you have to finish an article that day. Get to the end of it but keep it rough and 80% done then go back the next day. It's less stressful and means you will enjoy writing it more.
