    This year LUBS showcased student-led intercultural and digital literacy through an inaugural ‘Digital Intercultural Showcase.’

    My poster presents the really fascinating "GR-eco islands project in Greece", exploring the impact of enhanced digital infrastructure through greater exploration of renewable and sustainable energy on small islands and what this means for the quality of life for people on the Greek Islands.

    The poster highlights some of the leading practices and innovations supported by the Ελληνική Κυβέρνηση and partners solutions such as a "green" 5G network, 5G-enabled Telemedicine Solutions and a 5G-connected school with an up-to-date Tech Lab from Vodafone Greece and Ίδρυμα Vodafone to transform Chalki into a more connected and sustainable island.

    The LUBS Panel found it to be: "nicely presented, very informative, and very easy to follow. The importance of the topic of sustainability is very much in line with the School's strategy and fits nicely with the important messages we are keen to share with our students. It was agreed that this was very useful in shining a light on some of the great work that is happening in this part of the world."
