3 years ago I told ASOS.com to get on TikTok Worked with them for 18 months on an extremely comprehensive creator + content plan as a matter of fact (that's only gotten 10X better in 2024 btw) But they either didn’t have the budget to create original content, spend $$$ on new trend prediction tools, or were scared because content driven commerce was so new So it’s with deeeep interest to see they finally joined TikTok Shop a couple of weeks ago Their IMMEDIATE results are staggering They far exceeded their target of 30% new customer acquisition with 57% of transactions coming from NEW customers!!! 45% of them were aged between 18-24 You just can't make it up Pretty remarkable to capture that much add'l Gen Z share since it was already their target audience to begin with Gen Z girls on TikTok drive social commece I think it's safe to say I told you so This should make all the retailers whose stock has declined up to 89% since TikTok sit up!! Macy's closing 150 stores won't make you any more relevant to Gen Z Kohl's adding 150 SEPHORA doors won't either i can't even w/ EXPRESS or FARFETCH in 2 weeks for the first time in 5 years reaching a whole new consumer base is kinda insane because it's the content and the community, not the brand that drives relevance in social commerce Mass fashion take note: your growth is social commerce full stop Because it's an $11.1 TRILLION market by 2030 and you are facing historic losses (see snapshot below) #thegreatfashionreset #creatoreconomy #communitycommerce #contentistheproduct #tiktokisthestore

We're still smiling after last week's results at the #SilverMarketingAwards and it was great to receive some lovely feedback from the judges regarding our award win in the best PR campaign category. Here's what they said: “The campaign has culminated in sales ahead of expectations, media coverage beyond anticipation and an advocacy within the community that has taken other industry operators decades to build. The results indicate a truly successful campaign in terms of sales, footfall, and database. Changing attitudes is more difficult to measure but the seeds have been sown. “The use of the signature events and the cross section of touchpoints in the PR approach was an effective mix and covered all the bases.
