My development programme is disruptive. But, it’s also transformative... ...and very much needed in the world today. When I say disruptive, I mean that in the best possible way. How? Well, we’re tackling and removing issues that hinder character growth in children. Let’s backtrack to how and when my journey began. 14 years ago, I identified a massive problem in the education system. This discovery revealed some of the biggest challenges plaguing the current generation. Apart from poor mental health, depression and anxiety... Children are also struggling with: → Chronic bullying → Body dysmorphia → Handling pressure → An inability to focus Through my journey of working with families around the world, I’ve noticed a common trend: As parents we invest a disproportionate amount into the academic education of our children, and NOT the development of their character and soft skills. Since these life altering challenges ALL stem from a lack of focus on character and soft skills, it’s imperative to shift our focus and help children to: ▸ Boost their confidence ▸ Regulate their emotions ▸ Increase their resilience ▸ Improve their emotional intelligence One way I’m able to do this is through our custom built character development centres. We're making a massive difference through The Warrior Academy. The attributes we instil in children through our programme will one day help them to bounce back from inevitable disasters in life which unfortunately… We as parents can’t protect them from.

What a second day at the Care Show. Post no. 1 I have to start with the highlight for me. The debate with Claire Johnsen💚 Trudie Fell Ben Allen and Jonathan Cunningham ... arguing hell for leather about whether inspiration and innovation should come from within the care sector, the care community. Powerful stuff. More questions than answers. - Is there enough disruption in the sector? Do we need to bring in external disruptors? - Can other people coming in from outside the sector really understand the focus on people’s wellbeing and quality of life, rather than on productivity.. - Hey but aren’t we all to comfortable in our social care bubble? - In care aren’t we all too ready to blame other people: local authorities, the government, the NHS – isn’t it time we took a leaf out of other sectors’ playbooks and injected transformative disruption rather than small steps which do not avert the continuing crisis we see ourselves in. - Can the profit motive for innovation in care be a driver for change. All these and many other questions were fascinating to discuss. It was the last session of the conference in the keynote theatre and was stunning. Thanks Big Ian Donaghy for contributing as only he can. I encourage you to contact Trudie, Ben, Claire and Jonathan who are real innovators in our own community with vast experience from other sectors: from IT, from finance, from the military, for transport – we need to learn and integrate learning from other areas – combine our transformative powers and knowledge with that of people with fresh exciting ideas. I'd welcome your comments.

NCFE’s 175th Anniversary Event: BBC’s The Apprentice star Tim Campbell Discusses Employability – ‘Nobody should ever be left behind in education’ IEP Summit 2024 sponsors, NCFE, recently celebrated their 175th anniversary with a flagship event at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music during National Apprentice Week. One of the guest speakers was Tim Campbell MBE, entrepreneur, and star of BBC’s The Apprentice, who spoke about the empowering potential of education and the importance of providing all learners with choice and opportunity. “Nobody should ever be left behind in education,” Tim said. NCFE said Tim’s views resonated strongly on the day – particularly with the event taking place during National Apprentice Week – outlining key reasons why we should be focusing on what employers need to grow, supporting training and the maintaining of staff, and education’s role in social mobility. https://lnkd.in/e8BjT_E7 @IEPInfo #IEPNews @NCFE #TheApprentice @TC_MBE #EmployabilitySector

Launching on the 7th of May 7.15-8pm, my first in person event class for 2024! The first class will be a FREE TASTER session for anyone who wants to attend! Join me in the Memorial Room of Caerleon Town Hall for a relaxing guided meditation followed by a fabulous journaling session. These sessions are for anyone who wants to take time out for themselves to relax and connect with themselves and other like minded people, and who want to start journaling but don't know where to begin. Spaces are limited to keep it intimate so be sure to book early! Questions you may have.... ✨ What do I need to do? Sign up and book your space, come prepared with what you need and wear something comfy. ✨ What will I need with me? A blanket (optional pillow and blanket). A journal and pen (or just a piece of paper if you don't have a journal) Some water to keep hydrated. ✨ Where is the class? Located in the Memorial Hall within Caerleon Town Hall. ✨ Will I have to share my journalling? No, nothing has to be shared if you don't want to. Any other questions just ask, look forward to seeing you there! ☺️ #relaxation #calmconnections #Mindset #Coaching #meditation #SelfLove #SelfEmpowerment #SelfDiscovery #relaxing #journalling #newstart #bestversionofyourself
