Don't be afraid to expose your thoughts and ideas to challenge and comment. Nobody can thing an issue through from all possible perspectives on their own, only through open-minded collaboration to we create now break-through ideas, test our own thinking - and grow!

You need to present your project to a difficult stakeholder. How can you win them over?
Put yourself in their shoes. Whether I work for either regulators or regulated entities, I find it invaluable to understand what the other party is seeking to achieve. On several occasions this approach has resulted in solutions not originally identified and, on two occasions, legal proceedings have been stopped/avoided.
