    Korrompoi Primary School

    Education

    After completing a TEFL qualification I spent two months working as a teacher in Korrompoi Primary school, a Masaai primary in Kenya. During my time at Korrompo I led classes of up to 47 children in English, Maths, Creative Arts and PE. I was also able to organise a whole-school sports day for some 200 children.

    Poverty Alleviation

    Once a week I work with a team of volunteers to prepare meals at a homelessness hostel. We cook ingredients donated by local stores to produce healthy meals for a nearby St Mungo's hostel, giving residents a free meal and reducing the vast quantities of food which goes to waste everyday.
