The alternative is Crowdocracy. This is based on the idea that none of us are as smart as all of us. Normally the crowd goes one of two ways - it either it becomes the dumb mob and poor decisions are made or occasionally the crowd becomes wise and a much better decision is made. We discuss how to ensure the crowd always becomes wise. We explain how the wisdom of crowds would transform complex systems such as government or big business and potentially put an end to the worst excesses and divisiveness of politics. Show less
