The UK Social Entrepreneur Index is a celebration of entrepreneurs running businesses with social purposes, with the aim of providing recognition for social entrepreneurs, act as a benchmark for good practice and inspire the next generation.

Hatch was a finalist in the "Resilience" category of the NatWest SE100 Index. Santander’s Changemaker Fund has surpassed £1 million in matched funding and support from the crowd for charities, social enterprises and community projects across the UK that create innovative solutions to improve communities. Hatch was awarded a "Santander Changemaker Award" and received £10,000 as parting our successful crowdfunding campaign to bring 3 derelict shops on East Street Market (South London) back into use. The campaign gained traction on London Live TV and in the radio. The overall crowdfunding campaign and fundraising efforts to bring 3 spaces back into use brought in over £200,000. Since 2017, over 500 events were run in the space involving over 5,000 local people, over 90 enterprise programmes were delivered, and over 3,000 cups of coffee served (all social enterprise coffe "Made in Peckham") Show less

Hatch Incubator, is a dedicated Enterprise Programme supporting young adults (18 - 30) and social entrepreneurs (any age) to start their own business or social enterprise. The model builds on successful incubators such as Microsoft Ventures, Techstars and Seedcamp. The notable difference is that Hatch does not invest into the start-ups by taking an equity stake in these early stage ventures, but provides everything else that makes a holistic support ecosystem for young businesses.
