Happy Friday! We are so happy to celebrate hope street hotel one of our brilliant 'The 150' members!! Jan Morris and Jessica Matthews hosted an Alternative Race Day in April at their hotel. After hearing about Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool urgent appeal, they generously donated money from their ticket sales, sold raffle tickets and auctioned off some brilliant prizes at the event, raising an incredible £2,750. What a perfect day it was. hope street hotel is a beautiful hotel and we are so extremely grateful to them for choosing to support our urgent appeal in such a lovely way. Your contribution is a really important step towards our new home. A message from Jan Morris “In April, we hosted our very first ‘Alternative Ladies Day’ event up on our beautiful fifth floor! We were delighted with its success and have such wonderful feedback from all of our guests. During this event, we chose to support the charity, Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool, in a bid to urgently raise money for their new hospice. We are proud to have raised £2,750 on the day towards this wonderful cause and are looking forward to our continued partnership." In addition to the hotel's luxurious decor, rooms and spa, their event space is just gorgeous and has outdoor balconies with sensational views!! If you haven't been yet, you must take a visit. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be celebrating our incredible members of 'The 150' here on LinkedIn. We are so grateful to each member and feel extremely proud of their epic achievements for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Liverpool and our urgent appeal to come! The Anfield Wrap were one of our founding members and we couldn't be more grateful to them for their contributions so far. Not only did they generously donate their skills and time to create a short film that captures Zoe's Place and our appeal perfectly, TAW have also raised over £10,000 so far by sharing their film on their platform, running the Liverpool Half Marathon (go John Gibbons!!) and by introducing us to colleagues and stakeholders who might be able to support us in the future. We have some more event ideas in the pipeline too, so keep your eyes peeled! The Anfield Wrap have their community at the heart of everything they do. We think they are a huge success story for Liverpool, and we are extremely lucky to have them on board.
