What an incredible night hosting the Lloyds Banking Group Careers Live Session with over 1,400 students and the LBG team! We had a fantastic evening talking all about finding a career that you love with the help from some of the amazing apprentices at LBG. We had over 500 questions across the session from students all taking a keen interest on how they can develop their careers within the banking and financial services industry. Event Round-Up: Insight Event with Direct Line Group in Liverpool! We had an amazing day at our Insight Event with Direct Line Group in their Liverpool office today. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making it a fantastic experience. Here are some key takeaways from the event: 🔹 Hands-On Experience: Participants engaged in interactive workshops and business simulation exercises, gaining a real-world feel for working at DLG.  🔹Fast-Track to Success: Students had the unique opportunity to fast-track their applications for DLG's Apprenticeship programme starting in Sep 24! 🔹 Networking Opportunities: The event provided a valuable chance to network with professionals and peers, enhancing skills and building connections within one of the UK’s leading companies. There were three dynamic sessions throughout the day, each filled with enthusiasm and insightful discussions. It was fantastic to see Year 13 students, gap year seekers, and university students exploring new career possibilities. This event really was a workshop with a twist, including interactive insurance claim games and some “speed dating” networking with the DLG team. A fantastic few days at the Institute of Student Employers conference in Birmingham! The energy and passion for collaboration and sharing best practices were truly inspiring. What an incredible afternoon at PwC 7 More Place office in sunny London! We were thrilled to welcome over 130 black heritage students for an inspiring event filled with valuable insights and opportunities. The day began with an insightful talk on the importance of diversity. This was followed by a comprehensive session on PwC's Apprenticeship Pathways and Degree Flying Start Programmes on offer across the various business functions, helping students understand the application process and resources available to them as well as getting the chance to analyse what successful interview questions look like! After a refreshing break, we had an engaging panel discussion with a Q&A session where the Year 12 students asked their questions directly to various members on the panel. Day two of the incredible Institute of Student Employers Conference and today our very own Dan M. hosted a breakout session on the following topic: 'How to attract diverse talent in the most hard to reach regions' with a selection of our clients from Forvis Mazars Group, Lloyds Banking Group, Mott MacDonald and Amazon. It's a challenging topic, and one that our employer panel took questions from the audience on, as well as explaining their own outreach and attraction strategies.
