Warrington & Vale Royal College's hospitality & catering department recently showcased their exceptional skills in the final intercollege competition and awards ceremony before breaking up for summer. 🧑🍳 Students were tasked with creating delicious scones and creative risotto dishes. The event concluded with an awards ceremony honouring achievements over the last year like "Student of the Year" "Recognition of Excellence" and "100% Attendance". A huge congratulations to a very well-deserved student, Ben Holding for winning "Student of the Year" this year. Congratulations to our outstanding students! “I love coming to Warrington & Vale Royal College. One such student is Julie Burrows, an apprenticeship assessor who enrolled on our Level 2 Accounting course to improve her knowledge and confidence in the subject. A group of talented Level 3 Graphic Design students have recently brought the vibrant history of Warrington Town Hall to life through an engaging and meticulously illustrated book. This project was commissioned by the ‘Friends of Warrington Town Hall’ and local historian Janice Hayes. It captures the evolution of the Town Hall's role while highlighting significant historical events and key figures associated with it. Designed with educational purposes in mind, the illustrated book serves not only as a tribute to Warrington's rich heritage but also as a dynamic resource for local schools. Through colourful and detailed illustrations and narratives, the book aims to inspire young minds to connect with their town's storied past. The book is now officially on sale and will be available to purchase at the Town Hall and Warrington Museum for £5.
