⭐Wood has been selected by Giyani Metals Corp. to lead a Definitive Feasibility Study for its flagship high-purity manganese project, based at K.Hill in Botswana.⭐ #TeamWood will analyse technical and cost data from the project’s demonstration plan and previous feasibility studies to help de-risk project financing and support carbon emission reduction goals. ⭐ Wood has been selected as the lead specialist consultant for an independent study for the Sunrise Joint Venture’s (SJV) Greater Sunrise Development, located between Timor-Leste and Australia’s Northern Territory. ⭐ The concept study will support SJV to advance the gas and condensate development, including engineering technology, financing, commercial structures, fiscal, environmental, health & safety and socioeconomic drivers including local content. ⚡Wood has been awarded a contract by Centrica Energy Storage for the redevelopment of the UK’s Rough field in readiness for future hydrogen storage.⚡ The front-end engineering design contract, entails new pipelines, a new unmanned installation and onshore injection facilities at the Easington Gas Terminal. 🌟 bp and Wood – over 30 years of working together to deliver safe and reliable UK energy 🌟 We are proud to feature in bp’s "Our impact on the UK economy 2023" report spotlighting our work.   In 2018 we provided engineering services for the Seagull development – the first tieback to the Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP) hub in 20 years.   Around 300 of Wood’s talented engineers and consultants were deployed on the Seagull project from its early design phase right through to production. “The UK has some of the largest carbon capture potential in Europe and we can position as an early mover on CCS and decarbonisation projects. Pace is the problem – too many projects are sitting in the waiting room. ⭐ We have been awarded a new $46 million, three-year contract by TotalEnergies to support the Gas Growth Integrated Project in Southern Iraq ⭐ Team Wood will provide front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, procurement support, and construction and commissioning assistance to aid the recovery of gas currently flared in the Basra region to supply power generation plants. 💬 “This project will improve environmental sustainability through emissions reduction efforts.
