Light the South officially starts today! From now until the 8th of September, take part in this fantastic public art trail across Southampton and Cowes. With 40 lighthouses to discover, you'll have plenty to keep you busy. Keep an eye out for our lighthouse designed by artist Rosalyn Burroughs. Remember, funds raised from this trail support Southampton Children’s Hospital. The final puzzle piece 🧩 and the final clue 🔎 Have you been able to guess what it is? If not, don’t forget that the Light the South large scale public art trail starts tomorrow Saturday 13th of July. A chance for you to see our lighthouse 😊 As the official Logistics Partner for this trail, it has been an honour to offer our warehouse and storage facilities to bolt and glue the lighthouses onto their plinths, and transport them to various locations across Southampton and Cowes. This involved our teams utilising our equipment to lift the lighthouses onto our lorries, and ensuring the safe delivery of these beautiful artistic sculptures. What an incredible achievement! 🚛🟦🛥️ The Williams Shipping team and partners celebrated its 130th year milestone in a beautifully decorated marquee at the Cromwell Arms in Romsey! The evening included a sumptuous BBQ, dancing and a raffle which raised £2,400 for the charity, Mind. Thank you to our wonderful business partners for generously donating the prizes.
