I get asked a common question by Junior Designers: “Is wireframe really necessary?” My answer: HELL. YES. Here’s why: ✔️ It plans hierarchy & functionality effectively ✔️ It gathers ideas for a complete picture ✔️ It prevents costly mistakes Wireframe is the BACKBONE for any design project. My TOP tips for wireframing like a PRO: ▶️ 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿: — Avoid colours. It attracts the wrong attention. — Evaluate the visual hierarchy. Not branding. — Keep it simple. Stick to greyscale. ▶️ 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁: — No overwhelming details. — Focus on the core message. — Nail the content types. Not the final copy. ▶ 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: — Leave no room for doubt. — Explain details that visuals might miss. — Explain your choices. No one's a mind reader! ▶️ 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: — Prioritize navigation, layout, touch targets. — Think beyond aesthetics. Think interactions. — Designing for everyone = designing for no one. ▶️ 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀: — Display system status. — Highlight key decision points. — Focus on the intuitive path. Map out entire journeys. If you’re thinking of skipping wireframing, think again! The cost and time savings you get will make it worth it. Here’s the full guide → https://lnkd.in/d2sX_y3x PS. Does anyone still sketch their wireframes? ♻️ Save this cheatsheet for later with a repost.
