Everything we are doing at the Tote is about ensuring pool betting plays an increasingly important role in the future financial sustainability of horseracing. A crucial part of this is collaboration with our international partners, especially the growth and development of World Pool with The Hong Kong Jockey Club. The World Pool season is in full swing in the UK and the first Irish World Pool day of 2024 takes place at the Tattersalls Irish 1000 Guineas at The Curragh Racecourse on Sunday. Happy International Women’s Day!   We are committed to #InspireInclusion via our Women@Tote Network.   Last year we launched Women@Tote to support our female colleagues in an open, inclusive and progressive environment.   Over the last year our dedicated Women@Tote members, and all at the Tote, have got involved and contributed to this important initiative.   Since the launch of Women@Tote we have undertaken a range of activity, including: ⭐ Holding several ‘Lunch & Learn’ events with inspirational women. Launching a mentoring programme. 💜 Raising awareness of breast & gynae cancer. ❤️ Collaborating with The Eve Appeal to bring ‘The Every Woman Promise’ to all Tote employees. 💷 Raising over £700 for charity through a bake sale & raffle   We are excited to see what we can do over the next year! 🙌   #IWD2024 #InternationalWomensDay #InspireInclusion #TeamTote

It’s been another huge year at the Tote, and it’s far from over yet with plenty of top class racing still to come at the end of 2023. However, as we head into the festive season, we’d like to say a BIG Happy Christmas to all our colleagues, friends and partners in the UK and around the world. As part of our festive season, we have supported Wigan Youth Zone's “Christmas Miracle” which provides a delicious Christmas lunch and presents for young people and families experiencing challenges at this time. Members of the Tote team volunteered to help prepare for the event and we all donated lots of toys and gifts. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year.
