From as early as 2026, we could see the first S-100-enabled ECDIS on the bridges of ships. But why should we adopt S-100 standards? Hear from Thomas Mellor, Head of Technical Partnerships, about the benefits of S-100 for safe navigation and efficient operations from ship to shore. Tom will join industry experts at SMM Hamburg in September to explore the new data standard for navigation, delving deeper into the future of navigation during our daily panel discussions. 168 years later, we're working closely with the Port of London Authority to test the next generation of S-100 navigation solutions, including the UK's first S-102 sea trial with SEAiq Pilot to enhance marine navigation and safety. The trial focused on implementing high-resolution bathymetric data to improve situational awareness for pilots navigating the Thames. We look forward to continuing our collaboration in the next round of sea trials. Watch our S-102 sea trial: https://ow.ly/F2cx50SJZ98. #MarineData #DataStandards #SeaTrial #RiverThames
