    On 12 July 2024, the Payment Systems Regulator (the PSR) published its policy statement The Faster Payments APP scams reimbursement requirement: compliance and monitoring July 2024 (the Policy Statement). The Policy Statement follows PSR’s consultation paper – The FPS APP scams reimbursement requirement: compliance and monitoring. Why is this important?     The FCA released its findings on 18 July 2024 from its review of the treatment of politically exposed persons and concluded that banks, payment firms, lenders and other financial firms need to do more to ensure MPs, public servants and their families are treated fairly.     📰 In February, the government introduced a milestone legislation, as part of the Environment Act 2021, aimed at ensuring wildlife habitats are left in a better state than before development to support nature's recovery. Following the introduction of the new legislation, developers in England are required to deliver 10% biodiversity net gain when building new houses and commercial developments.     🧠 Alongside our new neurodiversity network, we’ve now announced further support for our colleagues, including a fully funded assessment, diagnostic and support package. Our neurodiversity network is our sixth employee network, helping neurodivergent colleagues meet, share advice, and provide mutual support. The support package includes a range of measures, recognising the varied challenges facing neurodivergent colleagues and acknowledging individual needs. Alongside access to assessment and diagnosis for our people and their partners and children, we’re also developing a toolkit with neurodiversity experts to enable discussion and encourage education.
