Despite the challenging weather on the day, the team remained committed and rallied around each other to face the challenge head-on. The camaraderie amongst our cyclists was inspiring, and there was plenty of laughter, encouragement and banter on the road. We recently bid farewell to a truck that has been a steadfast companion in our operations for over two decades. This truck, driven by Philip O'Sullivan since its inception, has delivered and installed tens of thousands of poles in our overhead lines operations, accumulating close to 1 million Kilometres along the way. These exceptional numbers pay homage to the careful driving and excellent maintenance that Philip has demonstrated throughout this truck's lifetime. Working closely with our dedicated fleet department, Philip has ensured that this truck not only lasted but excelled beyond expectations. This demonstrates the longevity that can be achieved from our vehicles when we adopt good driving practices and high standards of maintenance. As we welcome a new truck into our fleet, under Philip's stewardship and the support of our Fleet Department, we are confident that the new addition will continue to uphold our standards of reliability and excellence.
