Enjoy welcome drinks followed by lunch, make new connections and catch up with friends, with Club founder, John Harvey on hand to make introductions and orchestrate proceedings. Henley House is a unique Elizabethan manor in Somerset near the Jurassic Coast, peacefully set in five acres of landscaped gardens with far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Steeped in history, the house was built by Robert Henley, a contemporary of Sir Walter Raleigh and Sir Francis Drake and remained in the same family for over 300 years, from 1590–1919. Jane Austen reportedly named The Red House in her novel Persuasion after Henley House’s red sandstone facade.
