Yesterday our newly assembled Social Squad assembled for the first time. The TPS Social Squad is a team of Perfume Experts from across the business who create content (images and videos) to showcase our Perfume People, products, and campaigns throughout the year. The Squad attended training led by members of our MarketingTeam and AS Watson’s eLab. There was also a fun session run by the team from KGA telling us about their exciting perfumes! The day was full of laughter, it was great to see so many of our passionate content creators in one room. We can’t wait to see the amazing content the Social Squad makes. Earlier this week, a few of our Senior Management Team dug out their gardening gloves and picked up a trowel for their annual visit to the Keech Hospice Care to tend to their ‘Scentsory Garden’ 🌺. In normal July weather conditions, this event certainly requires sun lotion, but this year, it was coats! But never ones to turn down a challenge, the proverbial sleeves were rolled up, and the team got to work, making great strides to keep the garden looking stunning for the Hospice’s patients and loved ones. Our Head of People, Helen Gardiner, who heads up the People Pillar of our Sustainability Committee, told us: “I found tending to the Keech Hospice garden very rewarding. It's wonderful to have a beautiful, peaceful safe space for people to find some comfort. I'm glad to give my time to one of TPS’s "Feel Good When You Smell Good" sustainability schemes, which make a difference to the local community.” We really love supporting our local charity partners, and Keech is just one example. With 3,000 volunteering hours set aside for our people to use each year, we continue to be proud of what we give back, and that our leaders do their bit to drive these fantastic schemes ❤️. 🌟 Inspiring Team Day with Google 🌟 Yesterday was an incredible experience for our Online Business team, hosted by our amazing partners at Google! 🥳 The day was filled with insightful sessions, innovative ideas, and plenty of team bonding - we have certainly found out a few things we didn't know about eachother! We started with some time vision setting, talking about change & curiosity mindset with the lovely sally little before we were joined by our partners at Google, where we learned about the latest trends in tech and the future of online collaboration. Really encouraging us to think outside the box and leverage new tools and strategies to enhance our O+O experience. One of the highlights was the interactive Q&A with Google’s experts Bhasskar Saawhney, Neil Dulake and Laura Keane, who shared their wisdom and answered our burning questions about everything from AI & digital marketing to whether there really are sleep pods at Google! But it wasn’t all work - Getting out of the office gave us a chance to connect on a personal level, share laughs, and build stronger relationships. A wonderful week so far....a long drive yesterday made easier by a stay at the super impressive Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants Group at Bolton Abbey....... And.......this morning, I pulled on, one of the iconic 'Perfume Expert' t-shirts and hit the road early to see our friends at The Perfume Shop in their Colne store! Lovely to meet some of the team and to pass on a huge thank you on behalf of Look Good Feel Better UK for a stellar fundraising performance 💜💜! We appreciate everything you do. I did ask for a job but....it was a no! 😂😂 Then a skip down the road to Manchester, to the gorgeous Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, where I was super humbled to be asked by Lyndsey McBride, to present a charity update at the Coty regional conference. Walk for Prostate! Our very own superhero, Paul Dennington, laced up his walking shoes raising awareness for those battling prostate cancer, one step at a time. And who was there to cheer him on? Our spirited TPS Hempstead Team, joined Paul at 10am with smiles and high-fives ready! Paul took strides across the country, completing an amazing 42.7 miles. Yes, there were blisters, but oh, it was worth it! Together they managed to raise a whopping £1,591 for prostate cancer research, with our TPS champs chipping in £430. It was a day of laughter but most of all, it was a day of pride. Celebrating a decade at TPS! Today we celebrate the amazing Maria from our Buchanan Store as she marks her 10-year milestone at TPS. Starting as a Sales Advisor at our Metro 1 store, Maria moved to Glasgow after she got married 2 years ago and is now based currently at Buchanan proving to be an absolute rock for her Store Manager and her teammates. Area Manager, Emma Bell surprised Maria with a big bunch of flowers, a card, her 10-year length of service badge, and a voucher to spend! Emma says “Maria what an achievement!
