Together, we deliver race equity for employees.

About us

We help all stakeholders in a company to understand and successfully address systemic issues that make it hard for them to retain and maximise the potential of racial and ethnic minority professionals. TNON’s work is built on the idea that the advancement of ethnic minority professionals is not created by ‘fixing’ ethnic minority individuals, but by turning the working world of companies into inclusive environments where all individuals can succeed. ‘Training’ an ethnic minority individual and returning them to an unsupportive context, where barriers persist and the conditions of inclusiveness are poorly understood, is not an effective strategy for race equity. To advance ethnic minority professionals, we have to shape the cultures and contexts of workplaces to support that advancement.

  • Professionals who have been held back by systemic barriers are often the most driven – hungry for that chance to show what they’re capable of. Structurally, the professional ecosystem isn’t set up to deliver equitable access to opportunities to take on more senior responsibilities. Hidden barriers make it that much harder for minoritized individuals to make their mark. TNON offers expertise in diversity and inclusivity initiatives, so you can tear down the barriers and see what your people are really capable of when they’re not held back. We’re here to offer transformational support. • Consumer trends are demonstrating a growing demand for authentic products, and it has become essential for buyers to see that authenticity across the entire value chain to the point of delivery. Today, racial and ethnic minority representation across senior decision-making tiers is a significant competitive advantage. Into the future, diversity across senior management will likely be a barrier to entry. Looking forwards, we strongly predict that any product or service will be successful only if authenticity is projected from concept to delivery. That will certainly include senior leadership decisions rooted in an authentic understanding and connection with our diverse, multi-cultural marketplace. No diversity = stunted market affinity = performance losses. Representation = better customer empathy = growth and success. • Embracing Inclusion - Forging a Rich and Diverse Future for All Here's why racial and ethnic inclusivity leads to a brighter and more vibrant future for everyone: Unleashing Potential: Individuals from different backgrounds bring unique experiences, perspectives, and talents to the table - fostering creativity, innovation, and new ways of thinking. By harnessing this collective potential, we can propel society forward and solve complex challenges together. Cultural Exchange: When individuals from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds come together in professional settings, they share their traditions, customs, and values, fostering an environment of learning and appreciation. This cultural exchange enriches our collective knowledge, broadens our horizons, and nurtures a society that celebrates diversity. Global Collaboration: By embracing diverse perspectives, businesses and organisations can effectively engage with global markets, form international partnerships, and address the needs of diverse communities. This collaboration transcends boundaries, paving the way for mutual growth, shared prosperity, and a more interconnected world. Social Equity: Racial and ethnic inclusivity in the professional world is a catalyst for social equity. When individuals from all backgrounds have equal opportunities to thrive and succeed, we create a fairer society. Inclusive workplaces become platforms for empowerment, uplifting marginalised voices, and dismantling systemic barriers. By striving for equity, we foster a future where everyone has access to the same opportunities, regardless of their race or ethnicity. Embracing racial and ethnic inclusivity in the professional world is not just a vision; it is an imperative for a harmonious and prosperous future. Let's create a world where everyone feels valued, where diversity is celebrated, and where every individual has the opportunity to contribute their unique talents. Together, we can forge a rich and diverse future for all. Visit https://tnongroup.com/ to participate in the mission for representation and inclusivity. #DEI #RacialEquity #DiverseTalent #TNON

  • The relationships you build can be some of your most valuable professional assets. Sometimes, more valuable than qualifications or placements in high-profile positions. It’s not always what you know, but sometimes who you know, that can have the greatest impact on your career trajectory. A referral can be far more persuasive than any qualification or CV achievement. Put deliberate effort into building and maintaining relationships. Invest in your connections. Be proactive about offering help and support to others. Invest in your professional network so that you don’t stand alone in your professional journey. #ProfessionalNetwork #Relationships #Success #DiverseAccomplishment

TNON offers a range of programmes to support you in activating talent across different positions and seniority levels, positioning your business to fully capitalise on the potential of your talent pool. • If your business had over-dependence on a particular supplier, you’d want to identify that vulnerability and build in contingencies. An ethnically homogenous management team presents a similar but distinct point of weakness – with market affinity relying on an avoidably narrow context for perspective. Build resilience and capacity. Take action to protect your business. Visit https://tnongroup.com/ to participate in the mission for representation and inclusivity. #DEI #RacialEquity #DiverseTalent
