  • In July 2023, we launched The UK Fund – one of our bold commitments as part our new strategy to tackle some of the big social issues facing UK communities. One year on from its launch, The UK Fund has helped to bring diverse communities together and build new relationships between people with different life experiences. 👫 Thanks to #NationalLottery players, communities from Belfast and Glasgow to Cardiff and Kent have benefitted from over £17 million of funding awarded to 12 projects. While we continue to support organisations that make us a better connected society, we're now also looking to fund projects that focus on creating lasting change by helping children and young people to thrive. We want to hear from ambitious organisations that prioritise the meaningful involvement of children and young people in decisions that affect them and their communities; particularly those who have fewer opportunities to have their voices heard or acted on. 📢 We’re also interested in groups that help other organisations build capacity or infrastructure to involve and listen to more children and young people. The projects we’re looking to fund must: • benefit communities across the UK • scale up their impact by expanding their work • support people experiencing poverty, disadvantage and discrimination • create significant changes to systems that affect people’s everyday lives. For more information about The UK Fund, visit: https://ow.ly/RbAt50SJWEG Ym mis Gorffennaf 2023, lansiwyd Cronfa'r Deyrnas Unedig - un o'n hymrwymiadau mentrus fel rhan o'n strategaeth newydd i fynd i'r afael â rhai o'r materion cymdeithasol mawr sy'n wynebu cymunedau'r DU. Flwyddyn ar ôl y lansiad, mae Cronfa'r Deyrnas Unedig wedi helpu dod â chymunedau amrywiol ynghyd a meithrin perthnasoedd newydd rhwng pobl sydd â gwahanol brofiadau bywyd. 👫 Diolch i chwaraewyr y #LoteriGenedlaethol, mae cymunedau o Belfast a Glasgow i Gaerdydd a Kent wedi buddio o dros £17 miliwn a ddyfarnwyd i 12 o brosiectau. Gan barhau i gefnogi sefydliadau sy'n creu cymdeithas fwy cysylltiedig, rydym hefyd yn bwriadu ariannu prosiectau sy'n canolbwyntio ar greu newid parhaol drwy helpu plant a phobl ifanc i ffynnu. Hoffem glywed gan sefydliadau uchelgeisiol sy'n blaenoriaethu cynnwys plant a phobl ifanc mewn penderfyniadau sy'n effeithio arnyn nhw a'u cymunedau; yn enwedig y rheiny sydd â llai o gyfleoedd i'w llais gael ei glywed neu ei weithredu arno. 📢 Mae diddordeb gennym hefyd mewn grwpiau sy'n helpu sefydliadau eraill i feithrin capasiti neu seilwaith i gynnwys a gwrando ar ragor o blant a phobl ifanc. • The #RoyalWelshShow is this week, come rain or shine! 🌞☔ We're excited to share the findings from the seven year Rural Futures programme, funded through the #NationalLottery and delivered by Severn Wye Energy Agency. Supporting 14 rural communities across Wales with funding of up to £140,000 each, communities addressed challenges like isolation, limited employment, and lack of services. The programme empowered rural communities to address issues through knowledge, confidence, abilities and developing skills. Pentredŵr in Denbighshire benefited from the new hub that allows farmers to explore innovative uses for low-value upland fleeces, brought people together to learn wool-based skills and hosted social events and workshops to reduce isolation. Well done! Over seven years, 13 new jobs were created, and the programme’s findings indicate it helped reduce poverty, and co-produce solutions tailored to community needs. If you want to learn more, you can read the full report: https://lnkd.in/ed8BZAbv Mae’r #SioeFrenhinol yr wythnos hon, boed law neu hindda! 🌞☔ Rydym yn falch o rannu canfyddiadau ein rhaglen Dyfodol Gwledig saith mlynedd, a ariannwyd drwy'r #LoteriGenedlaethol ac a ddarparwyd gan Severn Wye Energy Agency. Gan gefnogi 14 o gymunedau gwledig ledled Cymru gyda grantiau hyd at £140,000 yr un, aeth cymunedau i'r afael â heriau fel ynysrwydd, cyflogaeth gyfyngedig, a diffyg gwasanaethau. Roedd y rhaglen yn grymuso cymunedau gwledig i fynd i'r afael â phroblemau trwy wybodaeth, hyder, gallu a datblygu sgiliau. Elwodd Pentredŵr, Sir Ddinbych, o’u hwb newydd gan alluogi ffermwyr i archwilio defnyddiau arloesol ar gyfer cnuoedd ucheldir gwerth isel, dod â phobl ynghyd i ddysgu sgiliau gwlân a chynnal digwyddiadau cymdeithasol a gweithdai i leihau unigrwydd. Da iawn! Dros saith mlynedd, crëwyd 13 o swyddi newydd, ac mae canfyddiadau’r rhaglen yn dangos ei fod wedi helpu lleihau tlodi, a chyd-gynhyrchu datrysiadau sydd wedi'u teilwra i anghenion y gymuned.
