Here at The FA we are responsible for overseeing, promoting and developing English football at all levels, from grassroots through to the professional game. We have big ambitions. Some of our objectives include ensuring that The Emirates FA cup remains the world’s premier cup competition, that Wembley Stadium and St. George’s Park continue to be world-class venues, and that success is achieved with each of our 24 national sides. The shared values, vision and pride of our people is central to our success.     Planning for the UEFA EURO 2028 tournament is underway, with three Board Director roles now available. The roles will be integral in shaping the strategic direction of the tournament and its vision of: Football for All, Football for Good and Football for the Future. The roles - a Senior Independent Director, and two Independent Non-Executive Directors (Audit and Risk, and Remuneration), will join the Company Board of UK & Ireland 2028 Limited for the next 4-year period. UEFA EURO 2028 will see Europe’s top 24 national teams compete in a 31-day, 51 match tournament which will be attended by over 3 million spectators, with a global tv audience of upwards of 2 billion people - If shaping the strategic direction of one of the world’s largest and highest-profile sporting events, sounds like you, apply now.     The FA Disability Cup in association with EE, returned for the eighth edition of the tournament at the weekend, with six exhilarating finals taking place at St George’s Park. A huge congratulations to our winners from the Amputee, Blind, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf, Partially Sighted and Powerchair finals, and to everyone else who played their part in what was a fantastic weekend of football. https://lnkd.in/e7rU_EEK

The FA Kickstart: Leaders Mentor Programme supported by Barclays is open to anyone who is currently working in off-the-pitch roles at any level of English football, from grassroots through to the elite game.     Wembley Stadium played host to a Vaisakhi celebration earlier this month, the latest in our series of ‘Faith and Football’ events. This year, over 700 guests experienced the evening with many Sikh artists including the Sikh Museum Initiative presenting their Sikhi based artwork which also included a VR experience.
