    Start-ups - don't ruin your employer brand before you've even created one! So often start-ups will post job adverts - depending on how many, getting hundreds to thousands of applications. Especially during the amount of lay-offs that have happened this year. Most openly say they don't have the capacity to look through the applications or even facilitate more than a few interviews per week. So why do it? You need to make sure you have some allocated resources to do that, whether it's a co-founder, leadership, an early team member, or an external partner. Your dream applicant might have applied, and if you take a month to notice, they'll have already found something else. Or worse, people remember you as the company that didn't respond, or didn't give feedback. This could be harmful to your brand further down the line. If you're hiring - make sure you have the time and resources allocated to do so. Or outsource it! #staffing #hiring #employerbranding
