✨ When hard work pays off! ✨ One week ago we were boasting about the recent EC news on #EUCCS and today we have the great pleasure of announcing that #EUCCS was also mentioned in the political guidelines of the re-elected president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The guidelines presented before the appointment of the President highlighted among the other pillars of the political program for 2024-2029 how" ''our united approach to #security should be centered around a new European Critical Communication System [#EUCCS] to be used by public authorities in charge of #security and #safety. This will be part of our work to improve daily #operational #cooperation in the fight against #terrorism and #crime and in saving lives in #emergency situations''. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eddH9kex The recognition of our work is the drive to continue in our mission! ➡ Watch this space to keep updated on our next developments!

Deadline to respond- Friday 6 September
We’ve opened a Request for Information (RFI) to hear from businesses interested in contributing to Australia’s Public Safety Mobile Broadband (PSMB). 📞 The PSMB will offer Australian public safety agencies with fast, safe, and secure communication. It will also provide quick access to data and images in live situations. Through the RFI process, we’re looking to: • Gather information on the telecommunications market technical and service offerings • Understand the costs of building and running a national PSMB network in Australia • Prequalify vendors for a planned future procurement in the 2025-26 financial year. Learn more and contribute to the RFI before it closes on Friday, 6 September 2024: https://lnkd.in/gy7k84QQ
