CHANGING LIVES FOR THOSE WHO SAVE LIFES It was an absolute privilege to be asked to speak and run a workshop at this week's Asian Fire Service Association conference in Nottingham. A hugely inspiring day full of speakers from both within and outside the service, highlighting areas of progression on the journey towards a truly equitable service and identifying key areas for focus. My focus was on how to build 360 feedback into an organisation. Where there is a strict hierarchy in organisations (for good reason where lives are on the line), it can sometimes feel unsafe for individuals to engage in feedback on how to improve and where to build on good practice. The workshop in particular sparked some fascinating debate about where many services are on this journey and I'm excited to hear where they go from here. Thanks to Mo Jogi and Harjit Singh DL for their invite and support and Strengthscope® continues to look forward to working with FRS units all over the UK on how to develop their culture. #strengths #feedback #keynote #strengthscope #leadershipdevelopment #teamdevelopment
