Yesterday, we welcomed 60 business owners, leaders and members of #TeamSinewave to our first Contractor Safety day. Our message….. we are “StrongerTogether”. We take the safety of our team very seriously and this extends to our contractor partners too. A variety of speakers took us through how we could work together, putting safety at the forefront of every project, every day. A highlight of the day was a presentation from Justin Manley of Titanium Talks who discussed the important of safety and the impact on his own journey, educational and emotional in equal parts. Thank you to all that came and for the positive feedback received, we look forward to making the next bigger and better.

Sinewave provide bespoke solutions in a variety of fields including; all aspects of civil groundworks, jointing, fitting and installations of electrical plant and equipment, including switchgear and transformers, low voltage apparatus, installations of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations as well as being an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) accredited by Lloyds through the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) . Our highly skilled protection and commissioning engineers are available for solutions to any network protection issues, grading studies and for commissioning of any high and low voltage equipment. A 24hr a day emergency call-out and fault location service is available 365 days of the year. We also offer our customers, electrical system operation and safety training courses.

After over 2 years not riding (due to a back injury) I've given myself a stern talking to and signed up for a challenge in only 4 weeks Back to back rides, 100 miles on day 1 followed by 50 miles on day 2. It's going to be uncomfortable all kinds of levels but its for a great cause and one I would love your support on please. Also a big thank you to Sinewave. We offer an additional day AL each year for a charitable / community activity. Really pleased to be able to use it. Sinewave has recently run another graduate assessment day where we welcomed seven candidates to our Swindon training academy for a series of practical assessments as well as a chance to meet some of our team an get a feeling for life as part of #TeamSinewave. Successful from our 2022 cohort Brendan Laurence, now one of our design team, helped vet the candidates and narrow the sixty plus applicants to the seven we welcomed to our academy. Sinewave are delighted to announce we are working with Sonnedix on another 132kV renewables project in the UK. Currently in design phase Cowley Complex will mobilise in Q2 of 2024. Sinewave scope includes: ✅ Contestable and private electrical and civil design ✅ Power system studies ✅ Contestable 132kV compound works ✅ IDNO adopted 90MVA 132/33kV works ✅ 2no 33kV metering circuit breakers ✅ 5kM offsite cable route connecting 3 solar parks ✅ 3no 33kV Customer G99 substations This is our second project with Sonnedix mobilising in the first half of 2024 with Gammaton awarded only a few months ago. #TeamSinewave #Renewables #132kV

We've been thinking how to share our part in the rollout of rapid charging infrastructure for Sainsbury's. Turns out we didn't need to as Global Convenience Store Focus beat us to it with this video. Sainsbury's Smart Charge, Fosse Park is the UK supermarket retailer's impressive entry into our 'Best EV Hub in the World competition'. Fosse Park is a highway location in a retail park on the edge of Leicester, UK. Easily accessible from the M1, a major UK motorway. ✅ Smart Charge is the first EV charging business fully owned and managed end-to-end by a UK supermarket. ✅ As of today, Smart Charge is available at over 250 ultra-rapid charging bays at more than 30 Sainsbury’s locations. Its new charging hubs are powered by the same electricity that powers the rest of the Sainsbury’s estate, which is 100% renewable.In January 2024, Sainsbury’s launched its new ultra-rapid EV charging business, Smart Charge, in the UK. ✅ A new network of speedy, easy-to-use and reliable charging points conveniently located at Sainsbury’s supermarkets, Smart Charge will make a real difference to EV drivers in the UK. ✅ As one of the few providers to be focusing exclusively on cutting-edge ultra-rapid 150kW+chargers, customers can be in and out in as little as half an hour and avoid waiting longer with less powerful alternatives.
