We are delighted to share with you that Stephen M. Winningham has been appointed as non-executive chair of Silverpeak. Stephen has an extensive career spanning several decades in the investment banking industry, leading teams and organisations through transformational growth, most recently as chair of Investment Banking at Panmure Gordon. Currently, Stephen serves as the chair of the Board of IP Integration, a software company based in London. He is also the co-founder and chair of City Harvest London, a charitable organisation that aims to reduce food insecurity and protect the planet by diverting nutritious and in-date surplus food from landfill and distributing it to those who face food poverty.

We are delighted to announce the following promotions within the Silverpeak team Christopher White, Managing Director Chris joined our team three years ago as Vice President, bringing with him over a decade of experience in deal-making from both advisory and corporate development roles. He specialises in advising high-growth software and digital services companies. Recently, Chris successfully led and closed the sale of the largest maritime e-procurement platform, as well as the sale of a premier AI-powered booking engine to a leading hotel technology provider.   Anne Belcredi, Director DACH Anne joined Silverpeak in 2023 as a Senior Vice President, bringing more than 9 years of experience advising companies in M&A, public and private capital market transactions as well as acquisition financings with a focus on the technology sector. Prior to joining Silverpeak, Anne focused on the deeptech industry in her role as Vice President in Acuity Advisors’ DACH team. James Wilson, Vice President James joined Silverpeak in 2020 as an Analyst, rapidly promoting to Associate and now again to Vice President. Having completed numerous M&A and fundraising transactions across different verticals, James holds a particular interest in deeptech companies spanning semiconductors, quantum computing, photonics and advanced computing architectures." Michael Lanzarotti, Senior Associate Michael joined us in 2021 as a placement after studying at Bath University. He has played a key role in the recent closings of ShipServ and Photonic, further strengthening his interest and experience in software and deeptech.   Jake Rigby, Senior Analyst Jake returned to Silverpeak in 2022 as an Analyst, following a 12-month internship in 2020. Prior to Silverpeak, he completed internships at Alantra and Barclays. Jake recently worked on the sale of CX transformation provider GemSeek to Accenture. Dominic Taurins, Analyst Dominic joined Silverpeak in 2023 as a 12-month placement Analyst. His Master's thesis centred on utilizing AI and machine learning to anticipate a company’s default. This followed his degree in Economics and Finance which he completed at the University of Exeter.

The conference featured keynote speeches as well as interesting discussions on the challenges facing the deeptech sector. During the event, Pietro Strada moderated the ‘Investor Expert in the Pitching Session : Chips, Nanotech, Electronics’, he also participated alongside Osman Kent, a Senior Advisor at Silverpeak, on a leading growth investor round discussion while Anne Belcredi shared industry expertise in the ‘Pitching Session’.
