To celebrate International Women's Day and the theme for this year, Inspiring Inclusion, we hosted an internal interactive panel discussion on Tuesday 5th March. We heard stories from some of the women of FSP through an intersectional lens and asked important questions such as: - What is it like to be a woman in tech in 2024? - How has the landscape changed for women in the workplace? - How can we continue to drive equity for all women together and hold ourselves accountable? We hosted the event at our FSP HQ in Reading with a live stream across our Glasgow and Barcelona offices. A huge thank you to Deborah Bruce for facilitating the conversation and for Vickie Birnie, Wetika Woramontri, Suzanne Donovan and Gina Bull for bravely and authentically sharing your stories with the aim of helping women feel more supported, included and celebrated. Reflecting on the event, Deborah Bruce said "Tuesday was a great opportunity to celebrate the successes of women across our business and hear their stories. When women are inspired to be included, there is an increased sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment. At FSP, we are always building on our commitment to being an equitable and inclusive workplace." Along with our event, several colleagues have joined our internal podcast for further storytelling and insight. Our Glasgow Office is Growing and Going Green! In just one year since opening our first office space in Scotland, our Glasgow team has flourished, prompting us to relocate to a larger, more sustainable office space. As part of our commitment to reducing emissions and supporting sustainability, we searched for a location with excellent green credentials. We're thrilled to announce that we've found the perfect fit in the Onyx Glasgow building! Onyx shares our dedication to environmental responsibility, implementing measures to minimise emissions across the board. From utilising existing materials in renovations to efficient waste management and eco-friendly cleaning practices (and using Green electricity, of course), Onyx exemplifies sustainable business operations. Their commitment has even earned them the prestigious BCO Refurbished and Recycled Workplace award for Scotland.
