Looking to diversify your menu offering but not sure where to begin? Ruby Violet wholesale may be the answer! We love working with other businesses to produce high quality iced delights. Whether it’s in retail tubs, Napoli pans, ice cream sandwiches or sticks - everything we produce is handmade with love just outside of London. All our products come in Ruby Violet branding by default, but we are more than happy to discuss branding collaborations. Take our Masala Chai Ice Cream Sandwich for example - it's an exclusive for our friends at East West Pizza in Tufnell Park. 🍕🤎

Ruby Violet was our founder Julie’s Grandma. She was known to have the odd choc ice or two (whose Grandparents didn’t?!) in the freezer when Julie was little and so her love of ice cream was born. It wasn’t until she turned 50 that she decided to start making her own. From a stall and a vintage van, to a parlour with a tricycle and a trolley. Our inspiration comes from all over. One of the first sources was the first week Julie set up on the market stall. A customer came up and said “I’m just back from Paris and I had this amazing Salted Caramel ice cream, you should make that”. One week later it became our best seller. 13 years later that’s still the case. Most recently was our ice cream tour in Mumbai. The Parsi Dairy will always win top spot. It’ started over 100 years ago and they make the best kulfi ever. You can’t go to Mumbai without visiting. The moral is, take inspiration from everywhere, and it’s never too late to choose a new career. P.s. In honour of the women who came before us, we’re giving away an Afternoon Ice Cream Tea on our Instagram. It’s @rubyvioletices if you want to go and enter!

From sorbets and ice creams to petit fours and bombes, there’s no product, service or brand we cannot design an experience for. Not long ago we collaborated with Coco & Eve, an award-winning beauty company you’ll already recognise and love. We made 100 tubs of vegan sorbet inspired by their new scalp scrub!  The tubs were sent out to 50 influencers across London and we included some of the ingredients used in the scrub. Our mint and cucumber sorbet was influenced by the cooling peppermint essential oil and coconut and chocolate chip was made to highlight the coconut shell powder and coconut oil. Over the last 12 years, we’ve created a vast range of unique and unusual flavours, alcoholic sorbets and savoury ice creams for a variety of different clients in all sorts of industries. If you’re looking for something different, you know where to find us! 🤎

A few years ago we worked on a collaboration with Jacob’s which was probably one of our most adventurous to date. We provided the ice cream, and they arranged a pop-up shop in Soho to serve it to anyone who wanted to try out the weird (but wonderful!) bespoke combinations we crafted. 🤎 Tomato & Chive 🤎 Cheddar & Apple Ripple 🤎 Smoked Salmon 🤎 Ale & Twiglet 🤎 Avocado with Bacon We also created ice cream sandwiches with Stilton and a Twiglet brittle topping. Would you try one? 👀

Ruby Violet burst onto the scene in 2011, when our founder Julie Fisher started churning ice cream delights for the local farmers' market in Tufnell Park. We then went on to spend ten wonderful years on Fortess Road. We built a go-to space for many of the locals and it had a warm sense of community that is often hard to build. Unfortunately we had to make the incredibly difficult and emotional decision to leave our original parlour during the pandemic and focus our efforts down in King’s Cross. If you’ve not visited the independently curated Coal Drops Yard or Granary Square, you must! It’s an eclectic hub filled with beautiful shops to discover and spots to eat, but most importantly, there’s community spirit. And it’s as important to us now as it was back then. That’s why we started sponsoring our local youngsters at London Football School back in 2018. What it does for the boys and girls who are a part of it is huge. Having access to sports is incredibly important, so we thought it was the perfect choice for us. There are a few names you may or may not recognise who allow LFS to be such a success, so thank you to them all! Barry Turner and Son ltd in partnership with The Aced Project, Co-op, Steve Hatt, Strutt & Parker and MDG Property Services LTD. We look forward to seeing what the boys and girls achieve this year. 🤎

In the face of a worsening climate crisis, there are businesses using innovative technologies to actually make a difference when it comes to emissions. Rather than simply carbon offsetting, which works on the principle that you compensate for your emissions in one area by making a saving in a different one and can often be used to greenwash operations, businesses must push for carbon negativity. Independent South London brewery The Gipsy Hill Brewing Co has worked with Wildfarmed and used regenerative barley coupled with an innovative brewing technique to create the world’s first offset-free carbon negative beer, where each pint removes more greenhouse gases than it produces. Earlier this summer North London ice cream parlour Ruby Violet teamed up with Swiss-British AgriTech firm Mootral to create Maxi-Mootral, the world’s first climate friendly ice cream, made using milk from cows that had been fed a supplement that cuts methane emissions by up to 38%, without impacting the yield or the taste.

We take immense pride in our diverse range of offerings, including our exceptional sorbets. The fact that lots of people don't know is that our sorbets are completely vegan. These delectable treats shows our commitment to catering to the preferences of our valued customers.
