Last night Hospice UK hosted a very special evening with our wonderful ambassador, Jon Sopel at The British Museum. Marie-Claire Acton did a fantastic job pulling the event together, which was only made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship from our friends at Rothesay. We’re pleased to support the build-to-rent sector through financing this vibrant neighbourhood in Greater Manchester.
We've recently secured a £110 million investment facility with Rothesay, the UK's largest pensions insurance specialist, to refinance our New Maker Yards neighbourhood in Salford, Greater Manchester. The deal, which is our first with Rothesay, represents our largest financing facility to date outside of London, reflecting the growing demand for build-to-rent across the UK. CFO Dan Greenslade commented, "Securing a financing partner of this calibre is testament to the strength of the offer at the neighbourhood and reflects long-term confidence in the wider BtR sector. Demand for high-quality, professionally managed homes for rent in the UK’s regional cities is only set to increase as people of all demographics seek a better rental experience."
