About us

Related Argent is an unrivalled UK property business and urban regeneration specialist. We are a complete developer-owner-operator working across a range of property sectors including residential, workspace, education, shopping, hospitality and leisure. Our work goes beyond bricks and mortar development: we specialise in the services, facilities and experiences that are so important to urban life – art, culture, events, schools, skills and training programmes, renewable energy networks and much more. Related Argent already has a c. £13bn, 21m sq ft UK portfolio with major regeneration schemes at Brent Cross and Tottenham Hale, as well as a Build to Rent (BtR) scheme at King’s Cross. In 2024, Related Argent was appointed as the developer and asset manager of the King’s Cross estate and the St Pancras Hospital site. Our company brings together the expertise and track record of Argent – the developer behind some of Britain’s most successful mixed-use places - and Related, one of the most innovative and prolific real estate companies in the US. Our combined experience delivering groundbreaking projects includes King’s Cross in London, Brindleyplace in Birmingham, Hudson Yards and Deutsche Bank Center in New York, The Square in West Palm Beach, Florida and The Grand LA in Los Angeles. Today, we are accessing global capital markets to deliver major new projects across the UK and are also seeking to expand our BtR housing portfolio, drawing on Related’s 40+ years’ experience of developing, owning and operating over 80,000 rental homes.

We are thrilled that the King's Cross Masterplan has been selected among the winners of the prestigious RIBA National Awards for 2024. To quote from the RIBA citation: "Although its last new buildings are just being completed, the redesigned King’s Cross is beginning to feel like it has always been there, and that, crucially, it ‘works’. There is no higher testament to the success of a masterplan as a piece of city-making." Thanks to masterplanners Allies and Morrison and Porphyrios Associates and the array of talented architects and consultants who have worked with us to make this happen. The full King's Cross citation is available at https://lnkd.in/e9-wgk9b and to see all the 2024 RIBA National Award winners, visit: https://lnkd.in/ewkJVGS4 https://lnkd.in/eiXFmmyw

From façades to fashion, there’s never a dull moment at Related Argent! This time we’re getting runway ready to see the upcoming Lightroom exhibition, Vogue: Inventing the Runway, which premiers on 25 October in King’s Cross. Hot on the heels of the David Hockney exhibition, Bigger & Closer (not smaller and further away) and Tom Hanks’ The Moonwalkers, Inventing the Runway is a new immersive exhibition exploring the history of the fashion runway show in collaboration with fashion and lifestyle magazine, Vogue. Lightroom’s state-of-the-art digital projection and audio technology create mind-blowing experiences and spectacular, artist-led shows that can’t be experienced elsewhere. We've celebrated a huge milestone at our Heart of Hale scheme in #TottenhamHale with the Practical Completion of the much-anticipated Welbourne building ✅   The beautiful two-tone red brick building, which was designed by Pollard Thomas Edwards (PTE) and responds to Tottenham Hale’s rich heritage of industrial brick buildings, is delivering 131 new homes for social rent and a new NHS Health Centre which is due to open later this month and will serve 20,000 local people.   The building is a key component in the transformation of Tottenham Hale and its completion marks the end of Phase 1 at Heart of Hale, which also includes 1 and 2 Ashley Road. Update on Phase 2 coming soon!   📸 Alex Sturrock and Tim Metcalfe (PTE)

📣 AWARD NEWS 📣 Delighted to have taken home the gong for Social Impact at last night's Property Week Awards alongside local educational charity, Global Generation. We've been working with Global Generation at King's Cross for over 20 years but this project is a particularly special one: the Floating Garden on the Regent's Canal is a place where young people can experience the natural world on water, learn about biodiversity, discover wildlife and connect more closely with nature, especially important during this ecological emergency we find ourselves in. Congrats to all the other finalists, all very worthy winners!

We did it! Yesterday, 70 colleagues took on the 20-mile, 7-hour walk from Welwyn Garden City to St Albans, raising money for Brain Tumour Research. Despite the sore legs, hips and toes, everyone was still smiling at the end (and we even managed to celebrate a birthday while we were at it)! If you saw our earlier post, you’ll know that one of our colleagues was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour a few years ago and earlier this year, he ran the London Marathon to raise money for this vital charity. Sadly, brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on #cancerresearch has been allocated to this devastating disease. We are supporting his fundraising efforts and would hugely appreciate any donations, however small. Thank you! https://lnkd.in/eDpFbCQp

In just under 24 hours’ time, 70 Related Argent colleagues are taking on another Big Walk, this time raising money for Brain Tumour Research. The group of intrepid walkers - many of whom took part in last year’s mammoth bike ride to Paris and walk from Lewes to Eastbourne - will be stomping 20 long miles from Welwyn Garden City to St Albans over the course of the day. This year’s fundraising effort supports another cause very close to our hearts. In May 2022, one of our brilliant colleagues, Matt Ticehurst was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour (Grade IV Astrocytoma) at the age of just 31. After months of treatment and various operations, including an awake craniotomy, 6.5 weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy and then a further 6 weeks of chemotherapy, incredibly, he ran the London Marathon in April in just over 4 hours. We are supporting Matt's ongoing fundraising journey for this very vital charity, so if you would like to support our fundraising efforts, you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/eDpFbCQp Even the smallest amount will mean so much to all of us. Thank you 🙏

We recently welcomed Jo Causon, CEO of the Institute of Customer Service - the UK’s independent professional customer service body - to our King’s Cross HQ to talk to us and other real estate professionals about the macro issues affecting the UK service industry and the irrefutable link between service excellence and ROI.   Jo also highlighted the importance of empathy in service and outlined her top tips on what the real estate industry needs to focus on to drive customer experience forward.    It was a really insightful day and great to meet others from our industry who are also working to advance #customerexperience.
