The Red Hen Project

THIS is what partnership and impact look like when you support a local charity!! On Saturday, July 13th, Red Hen celebrated a significant milestone – 25 years - with our biggest event to date! Over 450 incredible people—children and parents—who Red Hen has supported over those years gathered for a day of celebration. The day was a whirlwind of fun and laughter, with activities including an inflatable obstacle course, bouncy castle, balloon modelling, ice cream, enchanting storytellers, glitter tattoos and face gems, exciting animal experiences, the Football Fun Factory, outdoor sports activities, an incredible steel pan music group, a silent disco, and mouthwatering BBQ burgers and hotdogs. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and made the celebration so special. A huge thank you to the businesses whose support made the day unforgettable: ⭐ Cambridge Fruit Company - giving us a van for the weekend and watermelon for all ⭐ Dassault Systèmes - who sent a team to litter pick the afternoon before the event ⭐ Football Fun Factory® - providing hours of fun for our kids ⭐ Green & Purple – sponsoring the ice creams - the perfect treat. ⭐ Ian Olsson - for taking photos and training our staff to use their phones to take great images ⭐ MathWorks and Tesco Milton – providing key equipment and resources for the day ⭐ TNS - The New Standard at Arm / NVIDIA - providing all the sausages, burgers, buns, and condiments for the free BBQ Thank you also to the other key business supporters who have helped fund the hard work of planning and delivering this day through generous donations and fundraising Savills, Cadence Design Systems, Dassault Systèmes, Mills & Reeve, AIXTRON LIMITED Thanks to Javier Lasheras, Yuliia Yevdokymova and our trustee Liezel Hanley for all their help on the day too. 🌟 A Massive Cock-a-doodle-thank-you To Our Local Business Community 🌟 The Red Hen Project was over the moon to attend the Cambridge Future Tech Summer BBQ - in partnership with Barclays Eagle Labs with thanks to Barclays Eagle Labs (Anthony Pryke CeMAP),  Cambridge Future Tech, The Bradfield Centre and Mishcon de Reya LLP The event was a tremendous success, featuring amazing food, superb music, and fantastic conversations. It was amazing to see the strength and unity of our local business community. On Thursday evening our Sarah was joined by our Vice-Chair Sara Garnham attending a very special reception. We joined other charities for the City and University of Cambridge Masonic Charitable Trust's cheque presentation evening. We are so grateful for their continued support for our work with children and families in North Cambridge. It was a glorious evening and a wonderful chance to meet and thank the many wonderful people involved in fundraising and other well-deserving charities.
