Last Thursday evening was a celebration of just some of the female talent we have across Rank with a group of fabulous women representing our business at the Women in Gaming Diversity Awards. We were finalists in several categories, and I am overjoyed to announce that our Head of Comms and Engagement, Serina Donkin, won the Positive Role Model of the Year (Operator) award! This recognition celebrates her work on Rank's new comms and engagement platform, connect. The app launched in May, and I am incredibly proud of all the effort and leadership she has shown in the delivery of this. This award is truly well-deserved. Congratulations, Serina! As the sun came up over North Wales this morning, 20 incredibly tired but delighted colleagues started their long journey home. They did it, the 3 Peaks Challenge is complete! 23 hours and 56 minutes is their official time, thanks to a sprint finish for the last 3km of the Snowdon descent. Nobody expected the challenge to be easy, it’s been incredibly tough on the team with many individual achievements, sacrifices, and heroics over the last 24 hours. Thank you and a massive well done to the entire team. Today, a group of 20 Rank colleagues are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, one of the UK’s most difficult hikes. They will climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours – covering 23 miles and ascending a total of 10,052ft. The team have set a goal of raising £30,000 for Carers Trust – a goal they have reached but would love to well exceed this to help #unpaidcarers across the UK.
