    We were very grateful for the nice weather when doing our sponsored walk for the Ben Automotive Industry Charity! Members of the r2c team tackled the beautiful Peak District in a five-mile hike. It was just a warm-up for the main event, though - a 13 mile charity walk in August! Ben provides support for life to anyone who works or has worked in the automotive industry. Its provision includes three care homes providing specialist dementia, residential, nursing and respite care.

    Salespeople can talk a good game when it comes to persuading people to sign up to their product - but when the aftersales care is shocking, it can lead to huge disappointments. During the first quarter of 2024 we logged 11,861 customer interactions - with 99.55% being resolved within just four hours. As you can see, we take customer satisfaction seriously! It's the most customer interactions r2c has experienced in its history as the popularity of our software increases. We monitor every customer interaction, whether online chat, email, call, internet or face-to-face. The queries can range from a forgotten password to more significant technical questions. Customer service head Marcel Zatko says the way interactions are made is changing too. “As well as more interactions with customers, we’re also seeing a shift in behaviour – up until a few years ago all contact would have been either via the telephone or email. "Now, online chat through the web has taken over as the largest single way of customers interacting with us.” As well as dealing with existing customers, the same first quarter has also seen the vast majority of training for new clients completed well within the service guidelines set out. r2c took on 104 new customers during the first quarter of 2024 and 79 of those were implemented and able to use the system within 36 days – our service level agreement states 45 days.     Should you celebrate when your sports team avoids relegation? r2c's newest Inside Sales Executive, Ryan Jordan - and his girlfriend Lucia - cracked open the wine when their team, Plymouth Argyle, managed to stay in The Championship. Fortunately, Ryan has other things to distract him from his disappointing football team - he loves his fitness and enjoys the Devon beach when visiting his family and Lucia. It's great to have you in the successful r2c team, Ryan!

    Do you work in a local authority? Members of the r2c team are at the APSE Transport and Vehicle Maintenance Seminar in Crewe today. As council taxpayers, we at r2c appreciate a well-run local authority fleet - as we're sure you do too! The seminar will look at innovation, the transition to cleaner fuels, recruitment, self-regulation and ensuring continued efficient delivery of fleet services. And we love helping fleets be efficient. Look out for r2c's John Harris (on the left of our photo) while you're there and see how he can help. PS r2c's Daniel Mulvey will be on our stand too!

    We've loved meeting so many of you at our stands across the UK this year - and now there's another chance to say hello! r2c's Ash Connell, Jake Lethbridge and Daniel Mulvey will be at Fleet Engineer at the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire tomorrow. They'll be demonstrating how r2c can save your fleet time, money and hassle. It will be another great opportunity to ask lots of questions in an open environment. We'll be giving away a tablet too!
