Sharing News: #ProjectBrains Wins Prestigious Innovate UK Smart Grant for #ResponsibleAI We are thrilled to announce being awarded the prestigious #InnovateUK #SmartGrant for our innovative AI-powered #B2B offering—𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗴𝘆𝗣𝗕. Get in touch to learn more and be a part of of the story - https://lnkd.in/epKWC9BF The award is a significant milestone in addressing a critical #skills shortage faced by UK businesses, esp. #startup, scale-up, small and medium-sized enterprises (#SME). 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆, yet McKinsey & Company records 87% businesses face shortages, equating to 2.5mn in the UK! For SMEs, the skills challenge begins early in the cycle—when identifying business needs. SME managers & startup founders may not have specialised knowledge about all domains, and lack extensive #HR support. So they opt for generic job descriptions, which attract mid-level talent, rather than the most suitable specialists. This often results in #mishiring, costing the average UK SME approximately £125,000 per bad hire, as per research by Oleeo. “𝘙𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘴 & 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘺-𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘬𝘦𝘺𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥-𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘭𝘨𝘰𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥-𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵.
