Todays team focus celebrates Sabrina Ahmed ‘s 1 year anniversary with Pretty Lavish. We asked Sabrina for a quote to summarise her time here at PL. Here are the lovely words Sabrina shared; ‘Having joined Pretty Lavish a year ago, I still feel as excited and inspired now as I did on my first day! On a daily basis, I see the team supporting, encouraging and empowering each other to make decisions which are meaningful and impact our customers positively but also that have a positive impact on the team internally. Our mantra of “never having that Sunday night dread” lives true – we’re encouraged to switch off, recharge and bring our authentic selves to work. This is the first place I’ve worked where I’m not called on a day off to jump on something urgent or asked to take my laptop away with me “incase something pops up”. As a member of the management team, Team and Culture are a weekly agenda item to ensure we’re continually looking at the teams development and ensuring our culture lives true to our values. Thank you to Feast & Flow for supplying the team with some immunity shots to kickstart the week! This is just what we all needed after a very early start on Sunday for our first London sample sale. The pineapple sour flavour went down an absolute treat 🍍!!

On Sunday we held our first ever London sample sale, and it is fair to say we had such an amazing day! 🤍 The team absolutely loved meeting all of you lovely people who popped in. It was great to see you love the brand just as much as we do and we hope you enjoyed your purchases. A huge shoutout to our amazing team who helped organise and run the sale, your hard work made the day an incredible success and we couldn't have done it without you - here's to many more successful sample sales! ✨ To everyone who attended, thank you! On Sunday we held our first ever London sample sale and it was so amazing meeting so many of our amazing customers who travelled from all over. It was a 5am start for a lot of the team and a late finish but we was on such a high all day. The BTS of these events is far from glamorous. A massive thank you to our team for the endless amount of hours that went into the preparation and exectuion of this day. Being an online business it was so amazing meeting our customers face to face and hearing how much the brand is loved. It makes it all worthwhile. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such an amazing team and love watching them succeed. 💕 Meet Annabelle Hall ✨ Annabelle joined Pretty Lavish at the age of 16, working in our shop for two and a half years until COVID-19. She then pursued her studies at university, returning to us for a three-month placement with our marketing team, where she contributed to our social media, PR and more. After completing her placement, she continued her university studies while freelancing for us to support the team. Fast forward to today, and we are thrilled to welcome Annabelle back to Pretty Lavish as our newest PR and Influencer Marketing Assistant, starting full-time this September. Annabelle, thank you for your continued support and loyalty. We are delighted to have you back with us! 🎉
