About us
Pearl & Dean are proud to represent cinemas ranging from multiplex chains, offering landmark locations throughout the UK & Ireland including Showcase, Everyman, Curzon, Omniplex, Movie House and AMC chains, to smaller local cinemas like the Berhamstead Rex. We are also proud to represent the majority of the independent exhibition sector, with a wide portfolio of quality circuits such as Scott Cinemas, Northern Morris and WTW Cinemas each offering individuality and often a specialist audience. This wide variety of cinemas have a hugely varied schedule of programming from the latest blockbusters through classic and art-house movies to alternative content such as live opera or concerts. All of this enables us to offer you, the advertiser, the ability to target either specific demographics or the population as a whole. The cinema is the best environment in which to showcase any brand. The audience is in a relaxed, receptive state of mind. There are no distractions and advertising is seen as part of the whole cinema experience. This results in cinema advertising being the most impactful media channel available. And you don’t have to stop at on-screen advertising...the cinema environment is one of the few places where you can extend your campaign beyond the screen to interact directly with your target audience. Our Innovations team can create a campaign bespoke to your needs which will find new and creative ways of bringing your brand to our film-loving audiences.

Even bastion of Home Cinema What Hi-Fi agrees "unless you have your own private cinema room then it’s still no substitute for going to the movies and being transported to another world by the magic of a dark room, large screen and enveloping sound as you watch pictures come to life" - especially when your local cinema is as fantastic as Really Local Group's Reading Biscuit Factory! Just one of the beautiful sites in our portfolio that is truly part of the local community. #CloserToCulture #CloserToCommunity https://lnkd.in/ejfNE5xA
It might not have Dolby Atmos, but my local indie cinema is still my favourite place to watch movies

Inside Out 2 remains a box office powerhouse, holding onto the No. 1 spot for a third week with a gross of £5.9 million. The Pixar sequel has now surpassed the impressive £30 million mark, joining Dune: Part II as the only two films to achieve that feat in 2024. Among new releases, A Quiet Place: Day One takes the top spot, bringing in a strong £2.9 million - exceeding both its predecessors, A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part II. This weekend also brings a double dose of history: Kalki 2898 AD marks the highest opening for an Indian film this year, and the highest-grossing non-English language film so far in 2024. Exciting times at the cinema!

Inside Out 2 continues to dominate the box office, adding a further £7.7 million to its total gross of £23.2 million. After only its second weekend, it has already become the second-biggest release of the year in the UK, overtaking both Migration (£21.4 million) and Kung Fu Panda 4 (£21.8 million), and trails only behind Dune: Part II (£39.5m). The success of Pixar's latest sequel is a testament to the enduring popularity of family films in cinemas. With Despicable Me 4 set to hit the big screen on July 12, we anticipate audiences will be flocking to theaters in droves!
