Parenting with Heart and Head

About us

Parent Network Scotland is a national charity promoting parenting with heart and head. The heart of our work is building parents confidence, skills, and connections improving the live chances of children across Scotland. At PNS we recognise the value of parents in strengthening childhood experiences and through our fun activities, informal and formal education programmes and experiential learning we support parents to build their knowledge of relationships, communications, child development, resiliency and play increasing their confidence, connections and ability to seek support when needed. Additionally, we offer practitioners across voluntary, statutory and professional agencies programmes to support them to reflect, build and connect with others to develop their professional practice, knowledge, skills, information resources and expertise in parenting issues to our partnerships, along with a willingness to share and learn from other organisations. We also train parent group leaders to lead on consultations with various agencies in design of policy and services which then reflect the needs of families. If you would like more information on attending one of our courses or on how best we can work in partnership, please get in touch at info@pns.org.uk.
